The Guardians of Veterans was founded simply out of the desire to raise money for Mission 22 and what they stand for when helping our Veterans and their families. We discovered that there is a need here is York County and saw what the cost was for a fully trained service dog. Some of these Veterans that put their lives on the line may not be able to afford even some of the most simple things in their lives that they need.
The Guardians of Veterans have decided that we wanted to not only raise money to have dogs trained and donated to those that need one but also raise money for other organizations that may need our help. We have also donated to The American Gold Star Mothers (York County Chapter) to help them maintain the beauty of the Healing Garden that they have as a place for families to honor their children that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
We will also like to send care packages to our Soldiers that are on active deployments in other countries as a reminder that we the American people haven’t forgotten what they are doing with their missions and keeping America safe from harm.
While on the Homefront find any veteran that is in need and try to get them support or supplies that they may need and to let them know that we are here for them no matter what that need is, and there is no judgement.
Our mission is to serve America’s veterans which includes their spouses, and their families by serving and honoring the men and women in recognition of their service to this great nation, and to promote Remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Our vision would be that we can assist our veterans thru our fundraising activities, serving them as they served for us.
